We’re hearing a lot about racism these days; and it’s supposed fix of Critical Race Theory.  Racism, by popular definition, is the oppression of one race of people over another.  So called, Critical Race Theory, is supposed to be a way to analyze “racism”.  But in reality it is actually the Communist dogma that melanin determines if you are racist.  If you have a lot of color in your skin, you are the “oppressed”.  If you don’t have much color in your skin, you are the “oppressor”.  Of course, the Communist aim with this idea is to “divide and conquer”.  If they can create chaos by getting us to hate each other, they have created the atmosphere by which they can slip in a communist government as the solution to the chaos.  To any honest student of communism this is as plain as the nose on your face.  To those who’ve been prepared by the Communists to let the Communists think for them, they just can’t figure this out.

But for all the accusation and rhetoric being thrown around, the real solution is being missed entirely.  Hatred and oppression between races are not caused by the amount of melanin you have in your body.  Skin color has absolutely nothing to do with it.  What makes one person hate another is caused by the failure of human selfishness; which the Bible calls “sin”.  When I recognize another person is made in God’s image, just as I am, I recognize they are worth my love and respect for being made in God’s image.  When I have that view of others, if they wrong me, I forgive them.  That’s the only alternative I have:  Forgive them—or commit a greater wrong of telling God to get off the throne.  That’s right:  If I don’t forgive someone for a wrong they do to me, I’m telling God He’s not judging them fast enough; therefore, He needs to scoot over, and I’ll sit there on His throne as judge. — Ouch?  Well that’s exactly what I’m doing if I don’t forgive those who wrong me.  Do you want to be like Lucifer?  That’s exactly what he did that got him kicked out of heaven and also given the title of satan (the “accuser”).  Do you want to accuse God of being wrong?  Then refuse to forgive someone who wrongs you.

This is no excuse for oppressing someone because they have more color in their skin than I do.  Not respecting someone made in the image of God, is sin in any age, with any people!  But that disrespect cannot be fixed with human law; because it is not a civil government problem.  The type government we have is not what causes racism.  Selfishness, motivated by pride in the human heart is what causes oppression.  And Jesus Christ came to save sinners.  The Bible says in Romans 5:8:

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Only when we admit that we can’t fix ourselves and need for Christ to step inside us, changing us to love God; to let Him do with this life what He wants to do with it—only then can we change and start respecting our fellow man.  Sin in the human heart is the source of all wrong in this earth.  James said,

“From whence come wars and fightings among you?  Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?” (James 4:1)

Christ’s shed blood paid the debt for your sin of hating others; His Resurrection life in you can provide you with the ability to love and forgive others.  The real question is not:  “How to fix racism?”  The real question is:  “Will you surrender to Jesus Christ as your personal Master?”

Think about it; because if you don’t, someone else will do your thinking for you—and for your children!  And you won’t like what that brings to you.  I’m Don Pinson; this has been Think About It.
