After Jesus was raised from the dead, the Bible records that,

“…He showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” (Acts 1:3, emphasis added)

Risking Prey Status 1

The fact that Jesus talked with His followers concerning the “kingdom of God” means (among other things) that He was revealing to them the warfare between the two kingdoms in this world:  That God is the rightful owner of this earth, and thus, the rightful ruler of this earth.  But there is one who has set himself against that Kingdom belonging to God, and tried to usurp its power.  That one is satan, called in the Bible, the adversary of God.  Thus, Jesus was equipping His followers with the understanding that we walk in a constant warfare in this earth.  This warfare engulfs everything in this world from:  Whether a person will come to Christ by surrendering his will and receiving Him as Master; to whether God or satan will control civil government—the greatest natural power on earth.

We’re seeing this warfare over who will rule in civil government happen in a big way right now in Alabama.  The race for U.S. Senate between Judge Roy Moore and Doug Jones is a huge target of satan.  satan has been set back more than once by Judge Moore’s Biblical stances in government; and I believe he fears greatly Judge Moore’s Biblical reasoning and influence in Washington.  Thus, the enemy has concocted lies against Judge Moore’s character to try to sway the voters away from him.

Let’s figure this out:  In all Judge Moore’s political races before this, which have been several, none of these stories ever came out.  Why, when they couldn’t defeat him with a liberal Republican (Luther Strange), and when Judge Moore had a strong lead over Democrat Doug Jones, did these stories all of a sudden begin to surface?  Let’s be, as Jesus said to be, “wise as serpents” in our analysis of these events.

When a man will stand on issues over and over in the position God takes on those issues, he deserves to be trusted.  We’ve watched Judge Moore willingly accept the rejection from those who do not stand where the Bible stands on issues, such as the public display of the Ten Commandments, and marriage being between a man and a woman only.  He knew standing in the Biblical position could cost him his salary, as well as much attack on his character.  He well knew the pressure that would be on his family.  Yet, not only has he stood for Biblical morality; he has been willing to call the attack in this natural realm against the truth of the Scripture what it really is:  An attack by socialist forces to advance their agenda by destroying the influence of the Bible in this nation.  Few now have the courage to do this.  But Judge Moore has refused to cower under their threats; he calls them what they are—communist sympathizers.  Thus, they have singled him out for special attack like the Bible says in Isaiah 59:15,

“…he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey…”

Risking Prey Status 2

The political predators are so threatened by having a bold voice for truth in government, they have made up complete lies about happenings they say took place forty years ago.  They accuse Judge Moore of immoral sexual conduct, which he flatly denies.  I believe him.  When I stack his conduct in government up against people like John McCain and Mitch McConnell, who are calling for him to leave the Senate race, it is real easy to decide who I believe.  It’s simply the difference between politicians and a statesman!!

Think about it; because if you don’t, someone else will do your thinking for you—and for your children!  And you won’t like what that brings to you.  I’m Don Pinson; this has been Think About It.
