Courts Usurp Power to Cancel Trump's Order1Enter once again the tyranny of the national courts.  National courts (sometimes referred to as Federal Courts) partially blocked President Trump’s executive order to slow down the flow of immigrants.  The President’s position is that he is trying to protect us from terrorist attacks.  The Courts say that he is trampling on the rights of immigrants.  Thus, we have our first “face-off” between the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch in the new Administration in Washington.  So who is right?

Bryan Fischer, one of my favorite policy analysts, has summed up the issue very well.  He states,

“Article I, Section 9 gives to Congress unilateral, unquestioned, unchallengeable authority to admit to our shores only those it ‘shall think proper to admit.’  If Congress doesn’t think they should come in, they don’t get to come in, regardless of what unelected oligarchs think about the matter.” (in other words, the judges) Continue reading

The media is in an uproar over President Trump’s Executive Order concerning immigration.  Not that the media being in an uproar against what is right is anything new, but many are questioning if what he has done in greatly slowing down the immigration rate is right.  Did the President move too quickly in giving this order?  In my opinion, given the “deep bleed” in the body of the American state, we can’t fault him much in this.

Trump's Immigration Fix1Because a nation can only be as strong as it is within its own borders, you cannot help other nations in the world until you are strong at home.  Those who expect America to take care of the world either are uninformed as to how God teaches us to help others or they reject the Bible as their standard for such benevolence.  Just as the Bible says that “Jesus began to do and teach”, so we cannot share with the world what we are not.  “Doing” always precedes “teaching”.  A tree can’t extend its branches any farther than its root system equals under the ground or the whole tree will topple.  American strength has been flowing away for years (and especially in the last 8 years) because we have tried to join the world “globalism” movement and compromised so many of our historic convictions in order to be “part of the crowd”.  All the President has done is to stop the bleeding so we can get into a position of strength once again and lead from the front!

So what does the Bible say about immigration?  Since it has something to say about Continue reading

David Barton, President of Wallbuilders, shares with us the reason for the protestors being at the Presidential Inauguration.  The Bible teaches that satan blinds “…the minds of them that believe not.”  (2 Corinthians 4:4)   The protestors at the inauguration are sad examples of this.  But we must know why they think like they do or we will allow our liberty to be destroyed by them!  I’m quoting extensively from Mr. Barton.  He writes:

Inauguration Protestors1“The inauguration of Donald Trump was remarkable in…that six different individuals offered prayers, with four of those prayers ending in Jesus’ name…

“Another unique feature of his inauguration was the large number of protestors present. Most were [from 20-36 years old], and [many] were still protesting the general election results…a common protest sign was ‘Trump is not my president’.  But that statement says more about our education system than it does about those who held the signs. It affirms the failure of American education in four areas:  American history, government, Constitution, and truth.

“First, the sign was intended to express their outrage over the fact that Hillary won the popular vote…but lost the presidency—an outcome they believed was unprecedented in the history of American elections.  Only it wasn’t.  The identical thing has happened in several other presidential elections.  Shame on schools for not teaching basic American history, and why such outcomes occur.
