Threatened by a powerful enemy, King Hezekiah of Judah did what any ruler should do: He first sought the face of God, crying out to Him for deliverance. Hezekiah prayed,

“…O LORD God of Israel…thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth…open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib…[which] reproach the living God…O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.” (2 Kings 19:15-19)
And God sent an angel who killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers in one night!
With the ongoing threats by the North Korean dictator of attacking America with a nuclear warhead, our first response should be the same. We should pray, asking God to intervene and preserve peace. Many, many believers here, and around the world, are doing just that.

“The fraudulent Roman courts began to be replaced by a Christian court system, the decisions of which people voluntarily accepted because it was so much more just than the Roman courts. Justice reigned among believers, which brought order to their subculture, in stark contrast to the growing anarchy in Roman society.
