Why Submit to Islam1January 7th was the deadly shooting in the Charlie Hebdo newspaper office in Paris.  On January 11th over a million people gathered in Paris to protest the Muslim philosophy that those who refuse to bow to allah must be killed.  Heads of state from a number of countries marched alongside the French President, including Israel’s and Germany’s leaders.  However, Mr. Obama was not there.  Neither did he send the Vice-President or even Secretary of State, Kerry.  This is a huge dishonor to those who have been our allies and suffered a terrible tragedy at the hands of Muslims who intend to live out the Koran.  Why does this man refuse to acknowledge that terrorism is almost always tied to the Muslim religion?  While he has steadfastly refused to acknowledge the importance of Biblical Christianity to our nation’s liberty, he has, at the same time, worked to cast in the very best light the Muslim faith.

This month marks 42 years in which the murder of unborn children by abortion has been legal in America.  Not that our Congress, the voice of the people, ever legalized it!  It was the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973 that illegally declared abortion legal.  Because we in the church sat by and griped (instead of getting involved in the voting process and The Slaughter MUST STOP1attending law-making sessions, so as to identify the law makers who supported such a hideous crime and replace them with our votes) now over 55 million of our own children have been murdered.  And that in the place that should be the safest on earth: Their mother’s womb.  The God Who made us, to Whom we will give a full account of our earthly deeds, is not blind to these hideous “rippings apart” of baby’s bodies in their mother’s womb!

God warned His people in the days of Jeremiah that their nation would be destroyed because they “burned their children in the fire” as a sacrifice to the demon god named Molech.  He spoke through the prophet Jeremiah this warning:

“Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, ‘Behold, I will give this city into the hand of…Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall…set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal…to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into My mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.’”  Continue reading

Few ministries in America have been attacked more than Answers in Genesis.  From the day they started to build the Creation Museum they have been constantly harassed by the liberal media and socialist organizations which hate the message of mankind having a Creator.  These groups know they have to control the mind of the next generation in order to teach them socialism.  The first Biblical truth they must remove from the eyes of children is that God made them in His “image, after [His] likeness, to Teaching Children Who is Their Creator1have dominion.”  Unless they can convince them of the lie of evolution, they will lose the war to change America to atheism and socialism.

America’s Founders were not fooled by the teaching of evolution.  Others, before Darwin, had put forth the theory for centuries.  But America’s Founders were men who had already considered the arguments against the Bible’s explanation of man’s origins—and had rejected those arguments.  George Washington revealed his thinking on the subject when he stated:

“It is impossible to account for the creation of the universe, without the agency of a Supreme Being…A reasoning being would lose his reason, in attempting to account for the great phenomena of nature, had he not a Supreme Being to refer to.” Continue reading

2015 - Why We Are Alive1This time finds many making new resolutions as to how they’ll live a different way.  It may have to do with how they plan to use their time, how they are going to eat or exercise differently, or a host of other things.  But most resolutions never happen because they are ours and not God’s.  Only if we line up with His plan can our true purpose be realized.

Perhaps you’re wondering:  What is God’s plan for me?  The Bible reveals this in Genesis 1:26.  Here, God tells why He made man.  He states,

“…let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion…over all the earth.”

In other words, God made us to look like Him, live like Him, and rule like Him—in this world. Continue reading

Ladies and gentlemen, the following story is why we have Christmas:

The Christmas Story1 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away [privately]. But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for…he… shall save his people from their sins.’ Now all this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us.’  And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took unto him his wife; and knew her not till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name JESUS.” Continue reading

Why Did Jesus Come to Earth1During the Christmas season, much is said and sung about Jesus coming to earth.  Many love the warm, gentle thoughts of a little baby being born and having His birth announced by angels.  But how many actually ever ask the question:  Why did Jesus come?  We can only answer that from the Bible.  Because, even though there is historical evidence that Jesus did live in Palestine in the first century, the only revelation to be found concerning why He came, is to be found in the Bible.

Jesus, Himself, declared His reason for coming in Luke 19:10. He stated,

“…the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

But what does “lost” mean?  To understand that, we must first understand why God made man in the first place. Continue reading

A journalist by the name of Heine, warned in the 1830’s what would happen in Germany if Christians did not stand strong in their walk and work of the Gospel of Christ.  He warned:

We, the People, Must Preserve Marriage1“Christianity – and that is [Germany’s] greatest merit – has somewhat mitigated that brutal Germanic love of war… Should that subduing… [cross] be shattered, the frenzied madness of the ancient warriors … will once more burst into flame.

“This [cross] is fragile, and the day will come when it will collapse miserably… (Remember, he’s saying this 100 years before Hitler’s rise to power) Then the ancient stony gods will rise…and smash the…cathedrals.”

(The History of Religion and Philosophy in Germany, 1834)

Heine also warned:

“Where they burn books, they will also burn people.”

We now see the burning of books in the academic realm as Biblical ideas are more and more shut out of that realm. Continue reading

Since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against marriage in the summer of 2013, we’ve seen many of the State Marriage Amendments, which defined marriage as being between a man and a woman only, declared unconstitutional by national courts.  These rulings not only ignore the right of the people within their states to define marriage, they fly in the face of Biblical moral law which defines marriage as being between a man and a woman only.  These judges “fear not God, nor regard man” (Luke 18:4).

Will Governors Preserve Marriage1So what do we do when we have a disordered national court system?  We must do what the Bible teaches by the principle of interposition:  We must appeal to our state governments to come “in between” our national government and the people.  This is what Jehoida, the Priest, Daniel, and Queen Esther did to fix disordered government.  We must fervently urge our state Governors, who have full authority to stop this attack on marriage, to do so.  Not only do they have full Constitutional authority to stop this overthrow of state law, they have a responsibility to do so!  They have taken an oath to uphold both their state Constitutions and the national Constitution.  It is their duty to stop these renegade judges!

Maybe you’re asking where we get this idea.  When Peter and James were told by the government authorities of their day to speak no more in Jesus’ Name, they spoke this principle when they stated, Continue reading

The Pilgrims- Overcoming the Hard Times-1Forefather’s Monument in Plymouth, Massachusetts is dedicated to the memory of the Pilgrims:  Specifically to the memory of, “…their labors, sufferings, and sacrifices in the cause of civil and religious liberty.”  One of the five statues which make up Forefather’s Monument is Morality.  This statue reveals the Pilgrims’ desire to live conforming their actions to the Bible.  They demonstrated how Christ could live His life through us if we were surrendered to Him as a living Master.  And that was true in hard times as well as good times.  Their story shows us this reality— even in the most difficult circumstances.

When they came together in a church covenant in 1605, to “walk together in all His ways…whatsoever it should cost them…”, it would cost them dearly.  Several times over the next three years, English deputies would burst into their worship meetings, hauling the men off to jail; fining them and keeping them locked up for thirty days. It wasn’t working.  The spring of 1623 saw the Pilgrims into their third year in America.  But there was a serious problem.  They were hungry:  And because of it they had no energy with which to plow their fields and plant their crops.  They knew winter would come again and with it death by starvation if they didn’t go to the fields.  Yet many of them just seemed unable to get themselves moving.

The Economy of the Pilgrims-2Recognizing the seriousness of their situation, their Governor, William Bradford, called for a meeting of the leaders of the colony.  They didn’t have to discuss their problem very long until they pinpointed what was wrong:  It was the socialistic economy they were trying to labor under.  They had long known this.  The businessmen who had financed their trip had insisted they live by a common storehouse.  In other words, they were to put all their produce into one storehouse, no matter which family had raised that produce.  Then, they were to take out as little as they could get by with for their own needs, and send the rest of it back to England to their financiers as payment for their debt.  The Pilgrims knew this would not work, but the businessmen insisted this is how they must do it.  The Pilgrims knew the Scripture taught that, “If any would not work, neither should he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10).   And they knew that even Christian people, like themselves, had to know they could “reap what they sowed” if they were to produce well.   However, they felt they had no choice.  They had to pay for their voyage, and they certainly did not have that kind of money themselves.  Thus, they submitted to an anti-Biblical economic system.
