In 1857-58 God came in revival in this nation in a remarkable way. A businessman named Jeremiah Lanphier started a noonday prayer meeting in New York City. Within a month, hundreds were praying at noon and it began to spread across the region. Some prayer meetings at noon sprang up without knowing of the New York prayer meetings. God began to move across the nation bringing hope to many who had become hopeless. The church had become so weak it couldn’t even decide if slavery was right or wrong. And whenever the Church leaves the Scripture as its standard society always goes downhill. We can always tell the strength of the Church by how much its influence controls the institutions of education, business, and civil government. Jesus said,
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5:14)
If the church boldly, in the love of Christ, proclaims what the Bible says about every area of life men will turn to Christ and be born again. As they “grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus” society will be Continue reading

In Portland, Oregon, the riots, disguised as “free speech”, have reach the lowest degradation possible. The left-wing looters have now burned our American Flag; and even WORSE, they have burned Bibles along with it!! To any citizen who believes in any semblance of decency, it has to be obvious that these rioters are simply Communist pawns who are out to destroy this Republic and replace it with dictatorial government. A government that is a true republic has to be based on the moral law of the Bible, which is summed up in the Ten Commandments. A Communist-type government hates that law, because God’s law insists that we treat our neighbor as one who is created in the image of God. Hence our Declaration of Independence states,
With more disrespect being shown to our flag, even within our own borders, it would do us well to revisit our heritage! Fort McHenry (where in 1812 a battle raged which inspired Francis Scott Key to write The Star Spangled Banner) was named after a man who served as a medical soldier in George Washington’s army, and later signed the U.S. Constitution. His name was James McHenry. While unknown to us today, James McHenry was one of those men who laid such a firm foundation for America that during the 1800s it would grow to become the greatest nation on earth. James McHenry got

I cannot tell you how very disappointed I’ve been with church leaders in recent days. The so-called “pandemic” has revealed some very interesting things about our lack of understanding of the Biblical principles of civil government. This is not to say that, in the beginning of it back in March, there was not the need for caution. There certainly was; since we didn’t know what we were dealing with. But the way church leadership just bowed down to the so-called “medical experts” and were willing to stop most ministry just because some governor said they had to, reveals a tremendous lack of understanding as to how Communists, and the many groups which work with them, work to take over free nations. This lack of understanding is far more scary than the virus. It shows that we’ve let our minds be shaped by socialist ideas: That we haven’t known that Karl Marx, the father of Communism, stated that his whole aim in establishing worldwide communism was for the purpose of destroying Christianity. What kind of ignorance does this reveal in us who lead the church? Remember the Bible says,
