Recently, students in an Oklahoma High School walked out in protest to school administrators because—school was too difficult?  No!  Because male students were being given free access to girls’ bathrooms!  This was being allowed because these boys were “confused” about their gender.  Many pleas by students and parents to school administrators had gone unheeded.  So, the students decided to take matters into their own hands, in the hopes it would get enough press coverage to expose this ridiculous policy!  On that thought:  If “unconfused” students would ban together, walk out of the classrooms, and steadfastly refused to go back until girls’ bathrooms were completely closed to males, guess what would happen?  Do not school districts have to have students present to collect the tax funding from their state?  If half the students were continually absent, guess what school boards would do?  They would find a way to protect girls in their bathrooms!  Money talks with a loud voice in most all school districts.  Think About It!

But is the effort to protect what is mistakenly called “transgenderism” what this battle is really about?  Absolutely not!  That’s the new color satan has painted his same old “garbage can” of fighting against the flow of truth in public.  In previous generations the paint on that can was:  “socialism must be allowed dominance in the classroom in the name of free speech”; or, “abortion must be allowed” in the name of a concocted idea that was supposed to be in the U.S. Constitution of “a woman’s right to privacy”; or, “the Ten Commandments can’t hang on the school wall” because that might “offend” someone—whatever that means!  The devil never changes his “garbage can”.  He only changes the issue.  The old “garbage can” of:  “Biblical truth can’t be allowed free expression in public” is always his relentless message.  The truth destroys satan’s lies!  That’s why he hates it so much.  When Jesus told him in His wilderness temptation…

“…It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)

…satan had to drop his temptation.  The Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit always defeats satan!  This is why he hates for the truth to be taught to the next generation.

And since it takes the power of law to enforce in a nation either the right of the truth to flow in public, or—the stoppage of the truth from flowing in public, satan wants to control civil government.  This is why Christians must let Christ speak through them into the civil government realm!  America’s Founding generation understood this very well.  A leading minister, Jedediah Morse, summed up this understanding well in 1799…

“To the kindly influence of Christianity we owe that degree of civil freedom, and political and social happiness which mankind now enjoys.  In proportion as the genuine effects of Christianity are diminished in any nation…in the same proportion will the people of that nation recede from the blessings of genuine freedom, and [take on] the miseries of complete despotism…Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government, and all the blessings which flow from them, must fall with them.”

Will you stand up for the right of Biblical truth being the foundation of our law?
